Big Dance

Greenwich Dance is delighted to be the BIG Dance hub for South East London. We believe passionately in the power of dance to engage and move people both physically and emotionally. Above all, dance is fun!

T-Mobile BIG Dance is a UK Legacy Trust project and one of our aims is to create partnerships that will carry on beyond celebrations in 2010 and 2012. Consequently it has been a particular privilege to work with Laban, Lewisham Council, Bexley Council, Churchill Theatre, Bromley Mytime, Magpie Dance, Greenwich Council, Greenwich and Docklands Festival, Greenwich Theatre, English Heritage, National Maritime Museum , The 02 and London Borough of Bromley to deliver signature projects for South East London.

We hope that Big Dance 2010 allows you the chance to dance, to watch performances, to talk about dance, to encounter new dance styles, to be inspired… Enjoy encountering dance by rivers, at stations, in theatres, on the street, at palaces, in shopping centres, in parks, in community centres, on film, in photographs and of course at Greenwich Dance's home, The Borough Halls.
