Contemporary
Summer Term
Contemporary dance is an expressive, energetic and creative dance form, born in the early 20th Century out of a desire to break away from the rigid structures of classical ballet.
This class teaches sequences using floorwork, travelling and fluid movements and natural momentum to explore what your body can do.
A great way to loosen your body from head to toe, especially if you spend a lot of time sitting at a desk. Contemporary dance builds strength throughout your whole body, particularly your core and helps improve balance.
This is a drop-in class that you can join any time.
