Dancing Fit
Spring Term 1
Incorporating popular dance moves from styles as diverse as Jazz, Street, Contemporary, Latin and Irish, for a high energy workout, which focuses on imporving stamina and overall fitness.
The dance movement skills and intensity build across the 6 week course, forming a new energized dance fitness routine every term.
At the end of the session, we work on building strength and toning muscles, along with working on flexibility.
Both regulars and beginners are welcome. Get ready for a fun and fitness filled 6-weeks.

Edel Quin
Edel is a member of Laban faculty, teaching dance fitness and performance enhancement. She has an MSc in Dance Science and is a trained contemporary dancer.
Edel performed as both a principle and troupe dancer with Riverdance for over 5 years. She has choreographed, produced and performed in various contemporary works and continues to perform professionally when and where possible. She is also a freelance dance teacher and lecturer, specialising in Safe Dance Practice.

Peta Blevins
Peta is a qualified theatrical dance teacher and currently teaches at Pineapple Dance Studios and Greenwich Dance. She has trained and performed in Australia and the UK in a variety of dance styles including jazz, tap, classical ballet, acrobatics, hip hop and street dance. She also performed in Australia as a singer and dancer with the Variety Youth Choir. Peta has a Masters degree in Dance Science from Trinity Laban and is a freelance dance teacher, lecturer and researcher specialising in Dance Psychology and Safe Dance Practice.
