Of Landscapes Remembered Aomori: A Creative Workshop for 7-11 year olds

Greenwich Dance is delighted to present a beautifully-crafted workshop for 7-11 year olds. The workshop is led by dance artist Sioned Huws, and draws on Sioned’s travels through Japan. Participants will be invited to take on the role of explorers and to move through the Borough Hall as if it were a place of adventure and magic. You will encounter landscapes such as forests, rivers and mountains, and the animals that inhabit them. In addition, all those children who attend this workshop, called ‘Of Landscapes Remembered Aomori,’ will be given the opportunity to be part of an exciting performance at Greenwich Dance in April 2011, which will bring together dancers and musicians from Japan.
