Tango
Summer Term
The first half of this class concentrates on technique and the basic elements of the dance style - steps, figures, embrace and walk.
The second half focuses on how to combine these elements to create Tango, including communication, improvisation, rhythm and interpretation of music.
All are welcome and no partner needed, as everyone will pair up and rotate in the class.

Wear comfortable clothing and hard-soled shoes. Avoid long skirts if possible.

Pablo Alonso
Born in Buenos Aires, Pablo Alonso has been dancing Tango since childhood. A renowned teacher and dancer, he has toured Brazil, Uraguay, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Scotland, France, the USA and the UK. He was a member of staff at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and has additionally been involved in a number of West End and Hollywood productions in an advisory capacity.
