Finding inspiring spaces for innovative dance creation, performance and community participation
Greenwich Dance is the home of dance in South East London, hosting classes, workshops, events and performances across the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We work with world-class artists and practitioners to support them to make and bring their work to the community we live and work within, here in South East London.
What they say about us
There are a few dance styles that I would love to explore more in depth in the future as dance is a universal language connecting people and places and promoting wellbeing and a sense of belonging. I am very grateful for this gift and I will never stop learning and practising. Thank you Greenwich Dance!
Today I had my first contemporary dance class with Greenwich Dance and it felt amazing! (I mean I'm terrible at it, but I had so much fun). Thanks for offering dance classes at such affordable rates
Greenwich Dance believes that dancing is one of the best ways to stay healthy. It keeps us physical and active - using holistic approaches to movement using the whole body and all of our muscle groups. It helps us to build confidence and self esteem through the accomplishment of new skills, it's fun and it offers us an outlet for our creativity.
Join the Team - Artist Support Producer
We are seeking a passionate and driven producer to work within our team to support artists and their work. This role will work to bring artists closer to the operation of Greenwich Dance to influence decision making, programming and delivery – working in partnership against shared objectives - and in so doing supporting each other to be creative, resilient and viable as we work with and for local communities and audiences.
