In June 2016, choreographer Bethan Peters worked with an extended cast of local volunteers to perform a brand new piece in the National Maritime Museum.

We May Be Some Time was a unique and interactive trail of discovery through the National Maritime Museum, with a cast consisting of local communities bringing the building to life with dance and song. Audiences were able to follow a trail around the museum to uncover personal accounts of travel, adventure and the desire to explore the world around us against a backdrop steeped in history and the spirit of intrepid voyages.

It was choreographed by Bethan Peters, Royal Museums Greenwich Choreographer in Residence. The project was produced by Greenwich Dance in partnership with National Maritime Museum & Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Greenwich Dances is part of the Royal Greenwich Festivals, supported by the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
