Greenwich Dances Moving Eltham

Greenwich Dances Moving Eltham

In Summer 2019 we took up residence in Eltham for a week (24 – 29 June) as part of our belief that everybody should have access to high quality cultural provision, and that sometimes dance should be brought closer to YOU rather then expecting you to go to it!

• We created 6 days of dance performance and participation
• We put on 7 different events, delivering 42 sessions of activity
• We moved 349 people with invitations to dance with us in workshops
• We touched 1545 people with invitations to stand back and watch our world class performers
• We supported 10 community groups with invitations to showcase their work
• We employed 25 professional artists to bring colour and vibrancy to Eltham

We took dance to the library, Queenscroft Park, Middle Park and Christchurch Community Centre, Stationers Crown Wood Academy, Tudor Barn, Passey Place, McDonalds, VUE and a range of shops up and down Eltham High Street to include Bathstore, Mr Simms Confectioners and CarpetRight.

Next year we want to make our festival bigger and better than ever. Get in touch if you'd like to be part of it...!
