Lindy Hop with Temujin Gill is a fun and challenging course that will bring you into the vibrant world of social partnered dance made famous in the Savoy Ballroom and films such as Hellzappopin.
Born from the original jazz dances that evolved in the US and reached their high point throughout the cultural revolution of the Harlem Renaissance, Lindy Hop is the grandfather of all Jive and Swing dance forms.
Focusing on a holistic approach to dance, Temujin will equip you with the foundation, language, skills and confidence to express yourself and find the joy in moving to a groove and connecting with a partner.
This course offers two progressive levels:
Beginners: 19.30 - 20.30
Improvers: 20.30 - 21.30
- Please ensure you are booked on the correct level: Beginners (19.30-20.30) or Improvers (20.30-21.30)
- Everyone is welcome and no partner is needed, as we will pair up and rotate partners in the class
- This course is for ages 18+
- This is a 5-week course between Tues 6 Jun – Tues 4 Jul
