A Day with Leah Marojevic
Tuesday 07 May
Morning Class: 10:30-12:00 (£5.50)
Afternoon Workshop: 13:00-15:30 (£20)
Leah’s class and workshop is a practice and a party of INTEREST and SELF LOVE through the action of dancing the body.
Morning class will begin with a focus on the somatic sensitivities of the body, working with the intention of meeting with the body in whatever physical, emotional, and metaphysical condition it is in. This will then expand out into an extended communal groove session guided through Leah’s inner dialogues, questions, confusions, imaginaries and foolish, unrehearsed statements that are the drivers of her own dancing practices/life. What can we tell the body and what can the body tell us?
The afternoon workshop will carry the mornings musings to work between authentic movement practice and free associative writing. We will make space to deepen our ability to hear when a thought makes a movement and when a movement makes a thought. We will chat lots and listen to music and each other lots.
Book one or join us for both!
Both the morning class and afternoon workshop are open level
