Our Dance for Wellbeing classes take place across the Royal Borough of Greenwich and into Bexley. This autumn, our Artist in Residence Holly is sharing her playlist so you can feel inspired to get moving too.
“This playlist encompasses each part of our Dance for Wellbeing classes, with music to gently warm up to, songs to explore movement and get creative, and songs for cooling down and reflection.
There are a couple more soulful, well-known songs in there- sometimes just putting on a song we love and moving to it can be the simplest thing to boost our wellbeing – especially when we share that experience with others!
My two favourite songs on the playlist are Got To Give It Up by Marvin Gaye, and Skins by Andy Monroe – our participants have been loving these and have asked me for their names so they can play them at home.”
