The Greenwich Dance team is delighted to announce that the organisation has been shortlisted for a prestigious award by the leading industry body One Dance UK.
The awards category, Community Champion, is for any person or organisation who is using dance as a tool to create, strengthen and /or build communities with non-professional groups in any setting and with any age group. We are thrilled to have been shortlisted in this category as it recognises the incredible work done by our team of producers and artists to deliver innovative dance classes and events in our community.
In addition to this fantastic news, we are also delighted to announce that our CEO and Creative Director Melanie Precious has been shortlisted in the Dance Spotlight Award category. This award shines a light on those whose work is vital to the production and support of dance.
The final accolades will be awarded on Saturday 10 February 2024 at a ceremony in Coventry.
