Over the past year, dance and the arts have not been the highest priority for all schools across the country. But as things return to normal, Greenwich Dance believes it’s time to really champion dance as an opportunity to get young people active in a way that positively impacts their mental health and wellbeing. That’s why we are changing the way we charge for afterschool clubs.

We know that each school wants the best opportunities for its students, but sometimes aren’t able to deliver these due to a lack of funds and/or resources. Our new flexible pricing options will give every school the chance to provide the best extra-curricular activity possible!

The hourly rate for a dance lesson is £70. Here is a list of our new payment options:

Option 1: A full term of lessons for students is paid for by the school

Option 2: A full term of lessons for students is paid for by contributions from the school combined with contributions from parents

Option 3: A full term of lessons for students is paid for by parents

So, whichever pricing option you go for all you need to do is make sure that enough students are in the class to cover the cost and we will do the rest. If, at the end of the term the cost hasn’t been covered, the school will be invoiced for the outstanding balance.

Greenwich Dance can also give students and parents the option of booking their suite of lessons via our website, freeing up teachers to focus on their other work. A teacher will need to be present during the lesson otherwise Greenwich Dance will have to add an assistant onto the cost. We will cap the number of participants at 25 so you may want to factor this into your planning. We can provide you with marketing information to drum up some interest.

We hope that this will allow more schools to provide an excellent extra-curricular offer for young people across the city. If you have any questions, or want to talk through pricing options in more detail, or simply to book a club for September then please get in touch.
