Here’s a fabulous list of dance films to brighten up your week!
Dance On Screen
1. Nowness | András Ladocsi - Dancing About Architecture: Dürer
Hungarian photographer and cinematographer András Ladocsi presents this transfixing dance film featuring seven dancers. Set in a derelict swimming pool built on the site of a 100-year-old monastery during Hungary’s soviet regime, Dürer reveals the impermanence of buildings, structures, and systems that we are led to believe are infallible.
In Case You Missed It
2. Titiana Varca - Eclipse
Created as part of our Make Your Own Dance Film series, Titana was mentored by Temujin Gill and her film was edited by Roswitha Chesher. Tackling themes of bullying and jelousy, this film is about the need to be independent and self-motivated in these difficult times.
