Dream Space. A performer is hidden behind the foliage of a eucalyptus tree

Dream Space is a new work created by the Performance Company at Greenwich Dance, in response to the cost-of-living crisis, the development of warm spaces and our individual lived experiences. The work is a movement exploration inspired by our shared stories as we look at the world we live in, where chaos and paradise are so closely related.

When things around us are turbulent, we look to find stillness and calm. It is an opportunity for us to take a closer look and realise that together we can create a dream space where a sense of belonging is embedded in our values and stories of hope.

We ask… can I exist without others? How can I reach out and truly connect? Can we become one? What can this dream space look like? Can wellbeing and care be at its core? Which values would you bring?

What to expect

This will be an informal event. We start with a gentle warm up, inviting guests to join us if they wish, or simply get comfy and settle in to watch the performance. We end with an opportunity to ask questions to the dancers.
