Make your own dance film!
August brings with it an opportunity for YOU to make your own dance-for-camera performance! We are offering a package of support to include mentoring with one of our 4 Up My Street Online choreographers and a professional editor to help you storyboard your idea to get the shots you need to tell you story. Your raw footage will then be edited professionally, to your brief, to create your very own dance film which we will give to you for your own use as well as broadcasting it on our Digital Stage. To get started check out the creative tasks offered by our 4 Up My Street Choreographers, pick one to start you off and then let your imagination go wild!

Look out for our #MeBeingMe film series by Lotus Youth Dance Company.
Over the summer we will be sharing the work of the immensely talented young people who make up Lotus Youth Dance Company on social media and on our Digital Stage. During lockdown the company have been using dance to express themselves and connect with each other through a project called #MeBeingMe. Given the brief to film themselves exploring their immediate outdoors through dance, the results are a stunning portfolio of unique dance-for-camera created, edited and performed by young people under 18.
