Dance for Wellbeing. Smiling participants take part in a dance class

This weekly creative dance session is part of our Dance for Wellbeing Programme of activity for adults and older adults. It is a creative dance and movement class that explores your physicality and creative ideas with like minded adults.  There will be more physical challenge in this session in comparison to our other sessions in the dance for well being programme.

What to expect? Each week you will;

  • warm up and learn movement led by an artists
  • play and improvise with movement ideas
  • create and share
  • appreciate and feedback

We will be working in the purpose built dance studios at The Plumstead Centre.

Belinda, Dancing to the Music of Time Participant

Our session is an invaluable experience, especially in these difficult times we are experiencing. Quite honestly I could not do without!! ! If anything it has prompted me to do more dancing

Dancing to the Music of Time Participant

When life is busy, this is a space where you can let go, and get rid of the daily nonsense and surprise myself. I didn't think I could work or move that way! It's helped by the exceptional teaching
