Dance for Wellbeing. Smiling participants take part in a dance class

At Greenwich Dance, we believe that dance has the power to improve mental health as well as physical fitness.

The average adult is recommended to take 150 minutes of exercise a week. Participation in regular physical activity can increase our self-esteem, reduce stress and anxiety and improve our quality of life. We believe that it can also bring like-minded people together, reducing social isolation – a problem that has been exacerbated by the pandemic.

And the great thing is, physical exercise doesn’t need to be boring. We have a range of dance classes you can get involved in this autumn to improve your wellbeing.
